**Position: Certified Technician**

The Certified Technician performs vehicle repair and maintenance as assigned, following dealer and factory standards to build customer loyalty by ensuring vehicle safety and reliability.

What are the day-to-day responsibilities?
  • Perform vehicle repairs and maintenance efficiently and accurately according to repair orders and standards.
  • Communicate regularly with Parts Department and Service Advisors to manage production and customer communication effectively.
  • Diagnose malfunctions and perform repairs with customer authorization.
  • Conduct multi-point inspections and recommend necessary safety and reliability improvements.
  • Document all work performed on each vehicle accurately on the repair order.
  • Maintain an inventory of personal specialized tools not normally provided by the department.
  • Stay updated with factory technical bulletins and participate in relevant training.
  • Provide an exceptional customer experience to foster loyalty.

What are the requirements for this job?
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of automotive technician experience.
  • Relevant automotive technical training.
  • Attention to detail, organization, and follow-up skills.
  • Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
