Job summary

The School District of West Allis-West Milwaukee seeks a Building Substitute for the 2026-2027 school year at Hale High School. Responsibilities

• Implement existing lesson plans to preserve instructional time.
• Instruct students on a variety of classroom topics.
• Follow lesson plans as required by school and district policy.
• Assign tasks and homework aligned with lesson plans.
• Model correct spoken and written English.
• Demonstrate professional practices in teaching.
• Maintain classroom control and a safe learning environment.
• Supervise students and address safety and discipline as needed.
• Experience with urban students in a technology-rich, personalized environment is preferred.
