Job summary

SurgCenter of Plano, a partner of Baylor Scott & White Health and United Surgical Partners International (USPI), is hiring a Certified Surgical Technologist. The position is weekdays only with no holidays, weekends, nights, or on-call shifts.

You will scrub for procedures, maintain a sterile field, prepare supplies and equipment, and support the surgical team in outpatient settings across ENT, pain management, podiatry, sports medicine, and joint replacement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED; completion of a Surgical Technician Program and/or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Certification as required by state and/or center
• Previous ambulatory surgical center experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of the surgical patient
• Understanding of aseptic techniques and their implementation
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing condition of the patient when needed
• Teamwork and communication skills to collaborate with staff, engage with patients, and coordinate with physicians

Responsibilities

• Scrubs for surgical procedures and maintains a sterile field
• Prepares supplies, instruments, and equipment for procedures
