Job summary

SurgCenter of Plano is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist to join our ambulatory surgery team. The successful candidate will scrub during procedures, maintain sterile fields, and assist with instrument and supply preparation in a weekday-only schedule.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED.
• Completion of Surgical Technician Program or equivalent.
• Certification as required by state and/or center.
• Previous experience in an ambulatory surgical center preferred.
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of the surgical patient.
• Understanding of aseptic techniques and their implementation.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing patient conditions and excel in teamwork and communication.

Responsibilities

• Scrubs for surgical procedures and maintains a sterile field.
• Prepares supplies, instruments, and equipment related to procedures.
• Supports the philosophy, objectives, and goals of the Surgery Center.
• Participates in quality improvement activities.
