Job summary

Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare, Inc. is seeking a qualified Surgical Technician to support the operating room team in a dynamic healthcare setting in Tallahassee, FL.

The role involves assisting surgeons, maintaining sterile technique, and ensuring patient safety throughout procedures. Qualified candidates will have a formal surgical technician training program completion and CST certification, with at least two years of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum: High School Graduate.
• Graduation from a formal accredited surgical technician training program.
• Two years surgical technician experience preferred.
• Certified Surgical Tech Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assists surgeon by passing sterile articles, retracting tissue, counting and handling of surgical specimens.
• Remains alert to patient safety and asepsis during procedures.

Qualifications

Required Education:

Minimum: High School Graduate. Graduation from a formal accredited surgical technician training program.

Required Experience:

Preferred: Two years surgical technician experience.

Required Certification/License/Registry:

Certified Surgical Tech Certification required.
