Job summary

OrthoVirginia is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist (PRN) in Westchester to join a high-functioning perioperative team. You will ensure the sterile field, pass instruments, and assist surgeons to support safe, efficient procedures in a fast-paced setting.

Candidates must have CST certification, graduate from an accredited Surgical Technology program, and at least 1 year of hospital or ambulatory surgery experience.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Surgical Technology program is required.
• Current CST certification is required.
• Minimum 1 year of surgical tech experience in a hospital or ambulatory surgery setting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for surgical success by assembling and inspecting instruments before procedures.
• Maintain sterile field and apply aseptic technique.
• Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments and equipment.
• Support room turnover and OR efficiency between cases.
• Ensure instrument quality and readiness for decontamination.
