Bronson Orthopedic Surgery Center in Kalamazoo, MI is seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist (or First Assistant) for a full-time position within a dynamic ambulatory surgery setting.

The role requires orthopedic OR experience, CPR certification within six months, and strong sterile technique. You will collaborate with the health care team, prepare instruments and supplies, and uphold patient privacy under HIPAA standards while supporting efficient case flow.

Formación

• Must be a Certified Surgical Technologist.
• One year of scrubbing and assisting with orthopedic cases.
• Orthopedic experience is required.
• CPR certified within six (6) months of hire date and maintain certification.

Responsabilidades

• Scrub and assist with orthopedic procedures in the operating room.
• Prepare operating rooms with sterile supplies and instruments per physician preferences.
• Maintain sterile field and ensure aseptic technique throughout procedures.
• Handle contaminated articles safely to minimize exposure to staff and patient.
• Assist with room turnover and support the surgical team to deliver quality patient care.
