Responsibilities

• Collaborates with physicians to provide for the specialized needs of the surgical patient.
• Builds trusting relationships with surgeons to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Anticipates supply and equipment needs to ensure timely, cost‑effective arrangements.
• Monitors and supports department needs, including shift changes to meet demand.
• Maintains aseptic technique and records breaks in technique per standards.
• Ensures safe practices according to policies and reports noncompliance.
• Maintains and communicates preference cards, updates changes with the team.
• Supports perioperative team and participates in training and education.
