Job summary

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with physicians to provide for the specialized needs of the surgical patient.
• Maintains aseptic environment during procedures and records breaks in technique per standards.
• Prepares and maintains equipment, instrumentation and supplies on the sterile field.
• Monitors surgical schedule for equipment and supply needs and supports the surgeon's preference cards.
• Assists with handling and management of specimens and surgical counts.
