Job summary

Dupont Hospital, LLC in Fort Wayne, IN is looking for a Certified Surgical Technologist to support the operating room team. You will prepare the sterile field, anticipate surgeon needs, and pass instruments to ensure patient safety and efficient procedures.

This full-time role includes evenings (10:30am–11:00pm), weekend call rotation, and one holiday per year, with a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a surgical technology program or an associate degree in a related field.
• 0–2 years operating room experience preferred.
• CST and BLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare operating room instruments and supplies per procedure and physician card.
• Maintain sterile field and apply aseptic technique throughout procedures.
• Anticipate surgeon needs and pass instruments efficiently.
• Clean, sterilize, and inspect instruments per policy.
• Count sponges, needles, and instruments with the circulating nurse.
• Assist with patient positioning, draping, and transfers as directed.
• Restock supplies and prepare rooms for subsequent cases.
• Adhere to infection prevention protocols and safety standards.
• Maintain regular attendance and comply with policies.
