Flowers Hospital is seeking a Certified Surgical Technician to join the operating room team. The role supports the surgical team by preparing the sterile field, passing instruments, and ensuring equipment readiness to enable safe, efficient procedures.

Responsibilities include maintaining sterility, assisting with patient positioning, and managing supplies and documentation in a fast-paced OR environment. Full-time, varied shifts, and comprehensive benefits are included.

Qualificações

• CST - Certified Surgical Technologist is required.
• BLS - Basic Life Support is required.
• 0-2 years operating room surgical technician experience required.

Responsabilidades

• Prepares the operating room with instruments, equipment and supplies for each procedure.
• Maintains a sterile field throughout the surgical procedure.
• Anticipates surgeon needs and passes instruments and supplies efficiently.
• Handles instruments per manufacturer instructions and hospital policy, including sterilization.
• Performs sponge, needle, and instrument counts with circulating nurse for patient safety.
• Assists with patient positioning, draping and transfer under RN direction.
• Maintains physician preference cards and procedural documentation.
• Restocks supplies and prepares rooms for subsequent cases.
