Job summary

vTech Solution is seeking a Certified Scrub Tech to prepare the operating room and assist during surgeries, ensuring sterile conditions and patient safety. The role includes setting up for procedures, handling instruments, and maintaining counts and equipment.

Requires CST certification, Colorado licensure, BLS, and at least one year of related experience preferred. Schedule is Monday to Friday, daytime shifts in a surgical center setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification required.
• Current Colorado CST licensure required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the operating room for surgical procedures.
• Assist during surgery by providing sterile instruments and supplies.
• Prepare patients for surgery by cleansing and disinfecting incision sites.
• Assist with patient positioning and draping to maintain a sterile field.
• Maintain accurate surgical counts of sponges, needles, and instruments to prevent retained surgical items.
• Operate and maintain surgical equipment, including lights, suction machines, and sterilization tools.
• Clean and restock the operating room after surgery.
