Job summary

The role involves learning robotic systems, inventory management, and onboarding new surgeons, with a focus on teamwork, quality care, and adherence to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of approved surgical technology program; certification eligible.
• Current BLS certification or obtain within three months from date of hire.
• Certified Surgical Technologist preferred.
• Previous surgical case scrubbing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes critical thinking in performance of job duties and maintains proficiency relating to surgical technology.
• Scrubs independently on complicated surgical procedures in all specialties.
• Coordinates activities with registered nurses and other coworkers in planning and implementing care within hospital policies.
• Maintains sterile field integrity and aseptic technique.
• Assists with inventory management and onboarding of surgeons and equipment.
