Job summary

Strategis Consulting is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist to assist surgeons and scrub staff during operative and immediate postoperative care. The role requires self-motivation, attention to detail, and the ability to function in a fast-paced environment with adherence to guidelines and policies.

Responsibilities include preparing the OR, assisting with instrument setup, maintaining sterile technique, and communicating effectively with the medical team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; surgical technology program preferred.
• Two years hospital OR experience required.
• CST certification preferred; must have and maintain BLS-CPR.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to use and apply medical expertise.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and set up the OR with instruments and supplies.
• Disinfect OR suite and maintain sterile field.
• Assist with gowning, gloving, scrubbing and patient positioning.
• Support surgeon during procedures and monitor patient status.
• Maintain aseptic technique and document medications and supplies.
• Coordinate with staff and participate in continuing education.
