Job Summary and Qualifications

As a Surgical Technologist, you will assist in preparing the operating room, participate in patient care before, during, and after surgery, and support the surgical team by managing instruments and supplies.

• Perform patient care within your scope of training and under RN supervision.
• Prepare patients, equipment, and operating rooms for procedures.
• Maintain a sterile and safe environment.
• Manage intra-operative needs and assist with instrument counts.
• Handle supply and equipment management, including sterilization.

Qualifications

Experience: Previous OR Surgical Technologist experience.

Education: High school diploma or GED; graduation from an accredited Surgical Technology program or military/training equivalent.

Licenses & Certifications: BLS certification; current Surgical Technologist certification within 180 days of graduation; ACLS preferred.
