Job summary

MultiCare Good Samaritan Hospital in Puyallup, Washington seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist to assist with the care and preparation of the surgical patient and the operating room under the direct supervision of an OR RN. The role focuses on assembly, set‑up and use of surgical instruments and equipment during procedures.

The CST must be a graduate of a CST program or have equivalent experience, hold active WA State registration, and maintain Health Care Provider CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Certified Surgical Technologist program or equivalent experience.
• National certification as a Surgical Technologist preferred.
• Active Washington State Surgical Technologist Registration required prior to start date.
• Health Care Provider level CPR certification.
• Previous experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with care and preparation of the surgical patient and operating room under RN supervision.
• Prepare, assemble, set up and use surgical instrumentation and equipment.
• Adapt to emergent or critical situations with directed or independent decision-making.
