Job summary

Commonwealth Pain & Spine is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist/Materials Management professional to support the operative team and oversee inventory, ordering, receipt, storage, and distribution of clinical supplies.

Under RN supervision, you will assist in sterile procedures, maintain a sterile field, and ensure supplies are ready for daily operations. Competitive compensation and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of experience in operating room preferred.
• Current BLS certification.
• Must be able to communicate effectively and work compatibly with physicians and staff.
• Demonstrated ability to manage inventory and support materials management processes.
• Certified Surgical Technologist must have knowledge and clinical skills for operative setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist the physician in the sterile field during surgical procedures.
• Gown and glove physicians and assistants.
• Maintain a sterile field at all times.
• May perform surgical skin prep.
• Ensure instruments, supplies, and equipment are readily available and in good working order.
• Disinfect, decontaminate, and sterilize instrumentation after procedures.
• Maintain sterilization logs and ensure documentation accuracy.
• Coordinate with team to prepare operative suite and restock supplies.
• Maintain inventory levels and support supply chain activities.
• Follow universal precautions and safety regulations.
