Responsibilities

• Under supervision of the surgeon, performs first assistant duties during surgery.
• Serves as Surgical Technologist in OR as needed.
• Maintains accountability for providing surgical instruments to the team.
• Coordinates care of the surgical patient with other team members.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality.
