Brigham and Women's Faulkner Hospital, Inc. is seeking a surgical technologist for a 36-hour rotating schedule at our Onsite 1153 Centre Street location. The role includes assisting in operative procedures, precepting staff, and maintaining patient safety in a Magnet-designated environment.

Qualifications

• Surgical Technician Certification required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required.

• ARC/STSA accredited Surgical Technology program and NBSTSA certification required.
• Staff adheres to ICARE Standards.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Function as a scrub person during operative and invasive procedures.
• Participate in ongoing educational and competency activities.
• Precept staff to the surgical technician duties, including surgical technicians, nurses and students.
• Support patient care with flexible schedules and teamwork.
