Job summary

Brigham and Women’s Faulkner Hospital, Inc. is seeking a Surgical Technologist to join a high-performing team. The role involves scrubbing for operative and invasive procedures, with ongoing education and competency activities to maintain skills.

You will precept staff, support magnet designation standards, and assist clinical teams with case flow. The position offers rotating shifts, onsite work at 1153 Centre Street, and a $10,000 sign-on bonus, with competitive benefits and PTO.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Surgical Technician Certification/Program completion is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• 1 year of Surgical Technician experience preferred.
• ARC/STSA accredited Surgical Technology program is preferred.
• NBSTSA certification is expected.

Responsibilities

• Function as a scrub person during operative and other invasive procedures.
• Participate in ongoing educational and competency activities.
• Precept staff to the surgical technician job duties including nurses and students.
• Support magnet designation standards and hospital quality initiatives.
• Assist with ongoing case flow and intraoperative support as needed.
• Maintain professional appearance and adherence to standards.
