Job summary

Mass General Brigham's Brigham and Women's Faulkner Hospital is seeking a Surgical Technologist for a 36-hour rotating schedule. The position includes a $10,000 sign-on bonus and offers competitive benefits.

You will scrub during operative procedures and contribute to education and competency activities within a Magnet-designated hospital system. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, Surgical Technician and BLS certifications, and preferred 1 year of experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Surgical Technician Certification required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required.
• 1 year of Surgical Technician experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Function as a scrub person during operative and other invasive procedures.
• Precept staff to the surgical technician job duties, including surgical technicians, nurses and students.
• Participate in ongoing educational and competency activities.

Must present and submit Certification of Graduation, as follows:

• ARC/STSA-Accredited Surgical Technology Program
• NBSTSA- Certification is conferred by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting Staff adheres to all I.C.A.R.E. Standards.

Basic computer skills.
