Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Health System in Boise is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) for the Day Surgery Center. This full-time, benefited role supports outpatient procedures and a collaborative surgical team.

Ideal candidates hold CST or TS-C certification and BLS, with attention to detail and aseptic technique. Outpatient experience and passion for patient-centered care are preferred.

Qualifications

• Current certification as CST through NBSTSA or TS-C through NCCT.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification required.
• Strong attention to detail and aseptic technique.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the surgical environment and ensure instruments, equipment, and supplies are available and functioning.
• Support physicians and staff by anticipating needs during the procedure.
• Maintain sterile technique and safety standards.
• Communicate clearly with the surgical team and supervisory staff.
• Assist with room turnover and equipment maintenance to ensure workflow.
• Demonstrate Saint Alphonsus Mission, Vision, and Values in all interactions.
