Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Health System in Boise seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to join our Day Surgery Center. This full-time role supports outpatient procedures with emphasis on sterile technique, equipment readiness, and seamless operating room turnover.

As part of a multidisciplinary team, you’ll anticipate needs, maintain patient safety, and uphold our mission and values while delivering high-quality, compassionate care to our community.

Qualifications

• Current CST or TS-C certification.
• BLS certification for Healthcare Providers.
• Strong aseptic technique knowledge and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
• Preferred: scrub experience in an acute care or outpatient/same-day surgery setting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the surgical environment and ensure instruments, equipment, and supplies are available and functioning.
• Support physicians and surgical staff by anticipating needs during procedures.
• Maintain sterile technique and safety standards.
• Communicate clearly with the surgical team and supervisory staff.
• Organize supplies, assist with room turnover, and ensure equipment is maintained.
• Demonstrate Saint Alphonsus Mission, Vision, and Values in all interactions.
