Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise is seeking a full-time Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) for the Main Operating Room. This site is a Level II Trauma Center, offering a broad opportunity to work across Ortho, Neuro, General, Urology and more.

Position may include Sign-On and Relocation Incentives. The role requires CST certification and BLS, and offers day-one benefits with a structured on-call weekend schedule.

Qualifications

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) by NBSTSA or TS-C by NCCT is required.
• Basic Life Support for healthcare providers certification from AHA, ARC or Military Training Network is required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates cautery safety and aseptic technique.
• Performs equipment checks and ensures proper functioning.
• Updates surgeon preference cards and assists in gowning/gloving the sterile team.
• Independently functions in at least one other specialty area.
• Coordinates with RN Circulator to obtain needed resources and supports room setup.
