HCA Healthcare is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist for the CVOR in Nashville. You will join a highly skilled cardiovascular team supporting cardiac procedures with modern equipment and clear pathways for growth. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and patient-centered care.

You will scrub in, handle instruments, assist the surgeon, and help maintain a sterile environment while providing compassionate patient support and efficient OR turnover.

Competenze

• BCLS must be completed within 30 days of start date.
• CST/TS-C/CSA certification required.
• Basic Cardiovascular Life Support certification required or within 30 days of employment start date.

Mansioni

• Prepare and organize the surgical suite with instruments, equipment and supplies for safe, efficient procedures.
• Support patients with transport, positioning, prepping and draping while protecting comfort and safety.
• Scrub in and assist the surgeon by providing instruments and handling specimens.
• Monitor equipment and patient status during procedures and respond quickly when needed.
• Maintain a sterile field and ensure thorough room turnover in a collaborative team.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing and organizing the surgical suite with the right instruments, equipment, and supplies to ensure safe, efficient procedures
• Supporting patients with transport, positioning, prepping, and draping while protecting their comfort, privacy, and safety
• Scrubbing in and assisting the surgeon by providing instruments, handling specimens, and anticipating the needs of the team
• Monitoring equipment and patient status throughout procedures, taking quick, effective action when needed
• Maintaining a sterile field, ensuring thorough room turnover, and contributing to a collaborative, high-performing team culture

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Certificate
• (CST) Certified Surgical Technologist, or (TS-C) Tech in Surgery - Certified, or (CSA) Certified Surgical Assistant
