Job summary

TriStar Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, TN is hiring a Certified Surgical Technologist. You will perform direct patient care under the supervision of a licensed nurse and assist the surgical team by preparing the operative suite and caring for patients during procedures.

Qualifications include CST/TS-C certification within 90 days, BLS, and good communication skills. This position is on-site with comprehensive benefits and a supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited surgical technology program or equivalent training.
• CST or TS-C certification required within 90 days of start date.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 30 days of start date.
• Excellent communication skills and teamwork.

Job Summary And Qualifications

Position Responsibilities:

Performs direct patient care under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse. Maintains a safe patient care environment. Fulfills departmental responsibilities that foster the goals of the hospital’s mission and vision statements. Assists the surgical team in preparing the operative suite for procedures and assists in the care of patients by performing surgical technologist duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Good communication skills
• Graduate of an accredited surgical technology school or equivalent experience or training.
• Certification for applicable role (scrub tech/first assist) required within 90 days
• American Heart Association or Red Cross BLS

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (CST) Certified Surgical Technologist, or (TS-C) Tech in Surgery - Certified must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
