Job summary

Saint Alphonsus in Ontario, Oregon is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) for our Main Operating Room. This full‑time role supports surgeons and nurses, maintains a sterile environment, and helps prepare rooms and equipment for procedures.

The position offers Day 1 benefits, potential sign‑on incentives and relocation stipends, and shift differentials for evening/weekend/on‑call hours in a dynamic surgical setting.

Qualifications

• Certification as CST by NBSTSA or TS-C by NCCT is required.
• BLS certification from AHA or Red Cross is required (ACLS/PALS may be accepted in lieu of BLS).
• One year of scrub experience in an acute care hospital setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Care for all age groups according to scope and patient needs.
• Maintain sterile technique and aseptic environment.
• Assist during procedures and support surgeons and nurses as needed.
• Prepare rooms, equipment, and instruments; ensure proper counts and safety.
