The Valley Hospital-Paramus is seeking a Surgical Technologist to assist surgeons and registered nurses during operative cases, ensuring safe and efficient turnover and equipment readiness for each procedure.

Applicants should have a high school diploma, an accredited Surgical Technology program, NBSTSA certification, CPR, and ideally 2 years of experience. Strong teamwork and communication are essential for caring for diverse patient populations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of a formal accredited Surgical Technology Program or military training.
• NBSTSA certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeons and RNs during operative procedures.
• Maintain turnover by cleaning, decontaminating, and preparing equipment for each case.
• Serve as resource for tray inventory, instrument maintenance, and MD instrument requests.
