Job summary

Franciscan Health Indianapolis Orthopedic Hospital in Carmel, Indiana is seeking a Surgical Technologist to join the orthopedic operating room team. You will assist with instrument handling, prepare sterile supplies, and help ready patients for procedures.

Responsibilities

• Arrange instrument trays.
• Prepare sterile drapes and solutions.
• Assist with patient prep as needed.
• Pass instruments to surgeons and surgical assistants.
• May assist with sponge, needle, and other counts.
• Operate suction, diagnostic, and sterilizing equipment; package specimens for lab analysis.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma/GED Required
• NBSTSA Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Required
• 1 year Surgery required
• Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association within 90 Days Required
