Job summary

Jobot is seeking a passionate Certified Surgical Technologist to join our ambulatory surgery center. You will assist before, during, and after procedures, ensure OR readiness, and support the surgical team to maximize patient safety.

This permanent day-shift role (5x8s) offers competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, a matching 401(k), lunch daily, and life/short-term disability insurance. No nights, no calls, no weekends, and no holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Certified Surgical Technologist in ORTHOPEDICS is REQUIRED.
• Current certification as a Surgical Technologist.
• Ambulatory surgery center experience is highly preferred.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Demonstrated knowledge of operating room protocols and procedures.
• Excellent knowledge of surgical instruments and equipment, including their use, sterilization, and maintenance.
• Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to anticipate the needs of surgeons.

Responsibilities

• Preparing the operating room for surgical procedures by ensuring the equipment is functioning properly and safely.
• Preparing the operating room and the patient for surgery and providing support to the surgical team during the procedure.
• Setting up sterile table with instruments, supplies, equipment, and medications/solutions needed for the procedure.
• Performing patient care activities, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, before and after surgical procedures.
• Anticipating the needs of the surgical team and providing necessary assistance during surgeries.
• Ensuring all specimens are correctly handled and processed.
• Adhering to the highest standards of medical and professional conduct while providing care to patients.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area, ensuring compliance with all health and safety guidelines.
• Participating in the analysis of surgical procedure for patient safety, and recommending appropriate interventions.

Job Details

We are seeking a passionate, skilled, and dedicated Certified Surgical Technologist to join our dynamic healthcare team. This is a permanent position where you will play a critical role in patient care, working closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and registered nurses to ensure surgeries are carried out under optimal conditions.
