Job Responsibilities

• Prepare and organize operating room equipment, instruments, and supplies
• Anticipate surgeon and patient needs during procedures
• Handle specimens, medications, and assist with dressings
• Maintain sterile environment and ensure safety protocols
• Assist in patient positioning and transport to prevent injuries
• Participate in staff education and restocking supplies
• Support surgeons and patients with instruments and supplies

Qualifications

• CPR or BCLS certification within 30 days of employment
• Surgical Tech Certification (NCCT not accepted; NBSTSA required)
• Preferably one year of surgical technologist experience
