We Are Hiring
  • Sign-on bonus available
  • Department: Surgical Services
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, 3p-11p. CVOR on-call requirements.
  • Hospital: Seton Medical Center Austin
  • Location: 1201 West 38th Street, Austin, Texas 78705-1006
What You Will Do

Facilitate the safe and efficient performance of surgical procedures.

  • Prepare surgical operating suite with sterile drapes, solutions, instruments, and supplies.
  • Hand required/requested instruments and supplies to surgeons during surgery.
  • Assist with preparing, transporting, positioning, and draping patients.
  • Maintain instruments in an organized manner and monitor/track instrument counts throughout procedures.
What You Will Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider certification obtained within 1 month (30 days) of hire or transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • One or more of the following required:
    • Surgical Tech credential from NCCT obtained prior to hire or transfer date.
    • Surgical Tech credential from NBSTSA obtained within 6 months (180 days) of hire or transfer date.

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent with 2 years of experience, or an associate's/technical degree, or 4 years of applicable experience.
Additional Preferences

Minimum of 2 years OR experience preferred.
