• BLS Provider certification within 30 days of hire.
• Surgical Tech credential from NBSTSA or NCCT required.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate the safe and efficient performance of surgical procedures.
• Prepare surgical operating suite with sterile drapes and solutions, and appropriate instruments and supplies.
• Hand instruments and supplies to surgeon during surgery.
• Assist with preparing, transporting, positioning, and draping patients.
• Maintain organized instruments and monitor/tracks instrument counts throughout procedures.

Requirements

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire or transfer date (American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted).
• One or more of the following required:
• Surgical Tech credentialed from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA).
• Surgical Tech credentialed from the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT).

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable experience.
