Job summary

Emplify Health is seeking a full-time Certified Surgical Tech to join the Main OR team in La Crosse, WI. You will work 36 hours per week with 9- or 12-hour shifts and participate in a holiday rotation of 1–2 per year.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited surgical tech program, CST certification within 2 years of hire date, and BLS from AHA or Red Cross. Starting pay is $27.32/hour with strong benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited surgical tech program.
• CST certification within 2 years of hire date after start date.
• BLS for Health Care Providers (Infant-Adult) from AHA or Red Cross.

Responsibilities

• Assist physician as scrub person according to prescribed standards and assist RN in circulating duties.
• Prepare, select, maintain equipment, instruments, and supplies for surgical procedures.

Education

Graduate from an accredited surgical tech program

Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification within 2 years of hire date

Current Infant-Adult Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers (AHA/Red Cross)

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated full-time Certified Surgical Tech to join our Main OR team in La Crosse, WI!

What you will do:

• Work 36 hours/week - Variable FTE open!
• 9 hour or 12 hour shifts available.
• Holiday Rotation: 1-2 holidays per year
• Assists physician as scrub person according to prescribed standards. Assist RN in performing circulating duties as directed.
• Performs primarily in the scrub role preparing, selecting maintaining equipment, instruments, and supplies.

What you need:

• Graduate from an accredited surgical tech program
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification within 2 years of hire date. This is not needed until 2 years AFTER start date.
• Current Infant-Adult Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers (with hands on learning) from one of the following programs; American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
