Job summary

Emplify Health By Gundersen is seeking a dedicated Certified Surgical Tech to join our Main OR team in La Crosse, WI. This full-time role offers a 36-hour workweek with 9- or 12-hour shifts and holiday rotation.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited surgical tech program.
• CST certification within 2 years of hire date.
• BLS for Health Care Providers required or in progress.

Responsibilities

• Assist physician as scrub tech according to standards; support RN with circulating duties.
• Prepare, select, and maintain equipment, instruments, and supplies for procedures.
• Work on the main OR team in La Crosse, WI with a 36‑hour weekly schedule.
• Support a patient‑centered care environment and uphold safety protocols.

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated full-time Certified Surgical Tech to join our Main OR team in La Crosse, WI!

What You Will Do

• Work 36 hours/week - Variable FTE open!
• 9 hour or 12 hour shifts available.
• Holiday Rotation: 1-2 holidays per year
• Assists physician as scrub person according to prescribed standards. Assist RN in performing circulating duties as directed.
• Performs primarily in the scrub role preparing, selecting maintaining equipment, instruments, and supplies.

What You Need

• Graduate from an accredited surgical tech program
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification within 2 years of hire date. This is not needed until 2 years AFTER start date.
• Current Infant-Adult Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers (with hands on learning) from one of the following programs; American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
