Position Purpose

Trinity Health of New England is looking for a dynamic Certified Surgical Technologist to join our dedicated, high performing Joint Replacement Orthopedic team. The nationally recognized CJRI has dedicated inpatient private rooms and OR space, including 8 TJR rooms. Description

As a Certified Surgical Technologist, you will:

• Function as a professional under the supervision of qualified registered nurses, following established procedures and aseptic principles.
• Serve as a first scrub/scrub assistant during operative procedures to provide quality service to patients of all ages and surgeons.
• Assist with the preparation of sterile and unsterile supplies and equipment, ensuring proper care and reporting any unusual occurrences.

Minimum Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Surgical Technology.
• Certified CST.
• BLS required; preferably 1 year of orthopedic experience. New grads have 18 months to provide proof of certification, with two chances to pass the licensure exam as of 10/1/2023.
