Job summary

Fort Washington Medical Center, part of Adventist HealthCare, seeks a Certified Scrub Tech to support the Surgical Operations Department. You will assist the surgical team, pass instruments, and prepare the OR with sterile supplies for safe patient care.

Requirements include CST, TS-C or equivalent with 2 years OR experience, and BLS. Working full-time with day shifts and rotating weekends, the hospital offers strong benefits and a faith-based workplace in Maryland.

Qualifications

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST).
• Tech in Surgery – Certified (TS-C) acceptable with 2 years of recent relevant experience in an acute care hospital.
• Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

• Assist the Surgical Team by passing instruments and sterile supplies.
• Prepare the Operating Room with required supplies and equipment.
• Sterilize and organize instruments and supplies.
• Serve as surgical assistant as needed during procedures.
