White Oak Medical Center seeks to hire an experienced Patient Care Technician for our Med Surg Department. You will perform vital signs and activities of daily living under RN supervision and participate in ongoing education and professional initiatives.

Requirements include Maryland CNA license, CNA training and exam, BLS, and strong English communication. The role demands physical stamina, teamwork, and the ability to adapt in a busy acute care setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• CNA or first year Nursing School program and CNA exam required.
• Maryland CNA license required.
• American Heart Association BLS certification required.
• English language proficiency (spoken and written) required.
• Must be physically able to lift, bend, and turn.

Responsabilités

• Follow the care plan as established and delegated by the RN.
• Receive report from the RN.
• Maintain a culture of safety in the unit.
• Identify and report malfunctioning/expired equipment and supplies.
• Keep work areas and equipment clean and stored properly.
