Adventist HealthCare's Shady Grove Medical Center seeks an experienced Certified Surgical Tech for the Operating Room to support the surgical team, passing instruments, prepping the room, and maintaining sterile supplies.

Qualifications

Job Overview

Shady Grove Medical Center seeks to hire an experienced Certified Surgical Tech for our Operating Room who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing.

• Help surgeons during surgery by passing them instruments and other sterile supplies
• Prepare the Operation Room with all the necessary supplies
• Properly sterilize required instruments and supplies
• Serve as surgical assistant as needed
• Assist in order and restocking Operating Room supplies and instruments

Qualifications

• High school or GED required
• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technician program and certified
• 1 year hospital Operating Room experience preferred
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST).
• Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required

Typical Daily Schedule: 7a- 3:30p or 7a-5:30p
