Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency, LLC is seeking a Surgical Technologist to join the Surgery Department on a full-time basis with a 36-hour schedule. The role focuses on pediatric intraoperative support, sterile technique, and passing supplies according to surgeon preferences.

You will collaborate with the care team, participate in quality improvement, and serve as a patient advocate and educator for families and staff. Shifts run Tue, Thu, and Fri from 7 AM to 7 PM, with potential call across campuses.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Surgical Technology from an accredited program.
• CST certification preferred (must obtain/certify) within start period.
• CPR certification preferred within two weeks of starting.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeons during pediatric intraoperative procedures while maintaining sterile technique.
• Prepare age-appropriate instrumentation and pass supplies per physician preferences.
• Collaborate with the care team and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Act as a role model, educator, and patient advocate for patients and families.
• Work hours include 7 AM–7 PM shifts Tue, Thu, Fri with potential call across campuses.
