Job summary

SCA Health is hiring a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to join our surgical teams in Texas. The CST will function as a scrub person during operative procedures and assist with instrument preparation and room turnover.

The role requires graduation from a CST program, prior CST experience preferred, and current CST certification if available. BLS certification within 90 days is also expected.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• Graduate of a recognized Surgical Technologist program.
• Current Surgical Technologist certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Function as a scrub person during operative and other invasive procedures.
• Clean and prepare surgical instruments for processing and transport to decontamination areas.
• Assist with post-procedure cleaning of the operative or other invasive procedure room and preparation for subsequent patients.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
