Job summary

Baptist Health System is seeking a Certified Surgical Tech to provide direct and indirect technical care to surgical and obstetric patients across the age spectrum. The role emphasizes safety and adherence to established standards within the Baptist Health System.

You will follow competencies, support the mission, and collaborate with the surgical team to ensure high-quality patient care. A sign-on bonus may be available and a comprehensive benefits package is provided.

Qualifications

• High-school graduate and graduate of a DOE or CHEA-accredited surgical technology program.
• Preferred: 1 year as a Surgical or OB Technologist in acute or ambulatory setting.
• Active NBSTSA CST or NCCT or TS-C certification accepted.
• Must have active healthcare provider BLS on hire; or AHA BLS within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect technical care to surgical/obstetric patients.
• Follow established practices and standards to support safe surgical procedures.
• Complete competencies within designated introductory period.
