Northwestern Medicine is seeking a Certified Surgical Tech to support the Ortho CDH OR in a full-time rotating shift in Illinois. The role involves preparing the operating room, assisting with patient transport and positioning, passing instruments, and handling specimens as needed.

A CST certification and CPR-BLS are required or obtained within twelve months of hire. Eligible candidates join a patient-first team with competitive benefits and opportunities for growth within the Northwestern

Competenze

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist program.
• Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) within twelve months of hire.

Mansioni

• Prepares surgical operating suite with drapes, medications, solutions, instruments, equipment, implants, and supplies.
• Assists with preparing, transporting, positioning and draping patients.
• Passes instruments to physician during surgery. Continually accounts for number and location of instruments and supplies during surgery.
• Receives and processes specimens, if required, for delivery to the laboratory.

• Compensation: USD 24.29 - USD 36.44 - hourly
