Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare the OR and ensure instruments and supplies are ready.
• Maintain sterile field and aseptic technique throughout procedures.
• Anticipate surgeon needs and pass instruments efficiently during surgery.
• Inspect, clean, and sterilize instruments per policy and manufacturer guidance.
• Count sponges, needles, and instruments with the circulating nurse for patient safety.
• Assist with patient positioning and draping as directed by the RN.
