Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) required.
• Graduate of surgical technologist program or equivalent training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Anticipate needs of the surgical team and obtain instrumentation and supplies for procedures.
• Pass instruments to the surgeon and assistant during procedures.
• Assist with terminal cleaning of room and preparation for the next case.
• Prepare instruments for sterilization and transport to SPD.
• Adhere to policy and universal protocols and labeling of medications.
