Covenant Health is seeking a Certified Surgical Technician for the GI Lab Endoscopy at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center in Knoxville, TN. The role focuses on maintaining a sterile field, supplying instruments, and supporting surgeons throughout procedures.

Formación

• Must hold current CST or TS-C certification.
• Certification must be active with NBSTSA or NCCT.
• Ability to meet licensure requirements for CST/TS-C.

Responsabilidades

• Facilitates patient care by maintaining a sterile field and supplying instruments per case.
• Performs circulator and scrub duties; sets up and cleans up procedures.
• Maintains instrument and equipment integrity; ensures cost-effective usage.
• Demonstrates aseptic technique and proper scrubbing, gowning, gloving.
• Assists with counts and positioning to protect patient safety.
• Follows safety policies and completes required education.
