Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited surgical tech program.
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification within 2 years of hire date.
• Current Infant-Adult Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers (with hands on learning) from AHA or Red Cross.

Responsibilities

• Work 36 hours/week with 9- or 12-hour shifts available.
• Assist physician as scrub person according to prescribed standards; assist RN in circulating duties as directed.
• Prepare, select, maintain equipment, instruments, and supplies for procedures.

Education

Graduate from an accredited surgical tech program

Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification within 2 years of hire date

Current Infant-Adult Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers (AHA/Red Cross)
