Job summary

Emplify Health by Gundersen is seeking a skilled Certified Surgical Technologist to join our Main OR team in La Crosse, WI. You will scrub for procedures, assist the circulating RN, and ensure instruments and equipment are ready and sterile.

Graduates of accredited surgical tech programs who will obtain CST within 2 years are invited to apply. BLS for Health Care Providers is required, with hands-on training in American Heart Association or Red Cross programs.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited surgical tech program.
• CST certification required within 2 years of hire date.
• Current Infant-Adult BLS for Health Care Providers (hands-on) from AHA or Red Cross.

Responsibilities

• Assists physician as scrub person according to prescribed standards.
• Assist RN in performing circulating duties as directed.
• Prepares, selects, maintains equipment, instruments, and supplies for the OR.
