Job summary

SCA Health in Lubbock, Texas is actively seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to join our network of ambulatory surgical centers. The CST will function as a scrub person during operative procedures, ensuring instruments are cleaned, prepared, and transported to decontamination areas to support efficient patient care.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist program, and be willing to obtain or maintain BLS

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist program.
• Prior CST experience preferred.
• Current CST certification preferred.
• BLS certification or higher required within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Scrub person during operative procedures.
• Prepare and transport surgical instruments to decontamination areas.
• Assist with post-procedure cleaning and room turnover.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
