Job summary

SEH Saint Elizabeth Medical Center, Inc. in Florence, Kentucky is hiring a Certified Surgical Tech (CST) for the Surgery unit. The position is full-time (40 hours per week) on the 1st shift, reporting to the Registered Nurse within the perioperative team.

You will scrub, assist, and maintain sterile technique to support patient safety and quality care. Applicants should graduate from an accredited surgical technician program and obtain certification within a year of hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited surgical technician program.
• Proof of certification within one year of hire date.
• In-depth knowledge of anatomy and physiology, surgical procedures, instruments, sutures, and equipment for surgical procedures.
• Graduate of accredited surgical technician program.

• Perform the duties of the scrub person to meet the surgical needs of the patient in the perioperative setting.
